This is one of our teachers, Lei, (on right) helping us learn the Tagalog language. Alina, another missionary new to the Philippines, is also in our class. There are nearly twenty people studying Tagalog, but since we're all at different stages, we have individual classes. Do you see the fourth student? Elijah came along for the first five weeks! Now he is sometimes able to stay with Veronica, our helper, during class time (2 hours). We can concentrate a little better without him, but we miss the little guy! By the way, thanks to all who have been praying for some help caring for Elijah. We have been totally blessed with the two ladies who help us.

Thanks for letting us all enjoy Elijah's first birthday with pictures for us to see!!! He is so handsome and has such beautiful hair, what a cutie!!
I thought about him all day long, knowing that there would be mixed emotions for you both...thanks for sharing how the day was for you and all God is teaching you. HE is using you to encourage and bless our hearts!!
